Raleigh Beer Week is an eight-day celebration of “America's Smartest Beer-Drinking City” highlighting the region's diverse beer scene.

Starting at noon… kick off Raleigh Beer Week right and join us for our annual Cloudstoberfest anniversary party, as we celebrate FOUR YEARS of serving delicious beer and food in the Triangle!All proceeds of the Fall in Love with Beer competition will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!!

More about the Fall in Love with Beer tasting/competition:
Local Raleigh Breweries will be entering their fall seasonal beers for a chance to win the best fall beer! The tasting lasts from 2pm – 5pm, and for only $5 you will get a Clouds tasting glass and free tastings for the entirety of the competition. To make it even better, 100% of the proceeds from the competition will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Once the competition ends at 5PM, you will select your first, second and third favorite beers. We will add up the points and announce the winner at 6PM!!

a fully traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest and local NC Oktoberfest tap line up to compare and sample the range of this style of beer. We will have 500 year to 5 year old breweries! With the most Authentic Oktoberfest style food menu to pair with the brews as we listen to OOmpah records in our temporarily converted Munich Style Beer Hall dining room!!!!
The Hop Yard team will once again dip into their personal stash to share with you some of the rare and delicious treats that are exclusively available to Cigar City’s El Catador Club.

– Whippoorwill // Witbier brewed with organic oranges, coriander and bergamot-aged earl grey tea.
Between 4PM and 5PM, join us for a free sampling of Appalachian Wild Ales while supplies last!

And of course the homage to an Outlaw Legend, Viggo. Our Oktoberfest with big and complex malt flavor will be enhanced with Pumpkin additions.
I Thought I Hated IPAs: An educational sampling of IPAs
What is a New England-Style IPA? How is it different from a West Coast-Style IPA? What makes an IPA bitter? Learn the answers to these questions and sample between 4-6 different India Pale Ales in an interactive format. Invite a non-IPA drinking friend out anytime between 6:30-8:30pm. Together, explore the plethora of flavors this diverse beer style has to offer. When you have successfully converted your non-IPA drinking friend into a lupulin-lover, purchase a pint on draft.
Guests do not need to RSVP or purchase a ticket to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
“After Hours” beer event with Brewery Bhavana on Wednesday, October 3rd, from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. This event is limited to forty attendees.
You know that BottleMixx normally closes at 8:00 pm, but for this event, we are staying after hours to enjoy these beers in a more structured and educational tasting environment.
We’ll be pouring five fabulous beers in a single flight format(one beer at a time) as staff members from Brewery Bhavana present stories about the brewery and discuss the profiles of each beer we taste.
Price includes five 5oz pours, cheeses, light snacks and an entry ticket to win a basket of Brewery Bhavana gear! Ticket Price is $35 + tax.

The relationship between beer and donuts has led to quite creative and delicious beers such as Evil Twin’s Imperial Donut Break, Rogue’s Voodoo Donut, and Burial’s Skillet Donut Stout – all delicious beers in their own right.
The list of flavor combinations with beer and donuts is limitless but we’ll have a selection of 4 tasty beers that we think pair delightfully with 4 different donuts from our friends at Duck Donuts!
We’re still planning the selections, but mark your calendar now for this totally delicious day.
