The Hop Yard team will once again dip into their personal stash to share with you some of the rare and delicious treats that are exclusively available to Cigar City’s El Catador Club.

Tap list for the event is still taking shape but we’re currently projecting the following beers to flow:

    Oktoberfest

    Maduro

    Jai Alai

    Good Gourd

And just like last year, the shared bottle list is extensive. Here’s what we plan to open and share with those in attendance:

    3PM – Königsberg
    4PM – Barrel-Aged Moat Water
    5PM – Barrel-Aged Sugarcoat
    5:30PM – Argumentum ad Populum

    6:30PM – Bourbon Barrel-Aged Common Fate
    7PM – Coconut Marshal Zhukov

    8PM – Bourbon Barrel-Aged Caffe Americano
Please note that the bottles listed above are NOT FOR SALE. The Hop Yard has a very small amount of these beers in their personal cellars and are sharing them with the folks in attendance at no cost. We don’t have bottles of any of the El Catador Club beers available for purchase.

I Thought I Hated IPAs: An educational sampling of IPAs

What is a New England-Style IPA?  How is it different from a West Coast-Style IPA?  What makes an IPA bitter?  Learn the answers to these questions and sample between 4-6 different India Pale Ales in an interactive format. Invite a non-IPA drinking friend out anytime between 6:30-8:30pm.  Together, explore the plethora of flavors this diverse beer style has to offer.  When you have successfully converted your non-IPA drinking friend into a lupulin-lover, purchase a pint on draft.
